The purpose of the article is to analyze Turkey’s role in international relations according to Turkey’s involvement in conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa region, as well as in the southern Caucasus. Author wants to propose a thesis that regional power defnition is quite inadequate for present Turkey Despite the fact that without consulting turkey’s interests, it is impossible to end wars in Libya and Syria In addition, the author wants to compare Turkey’s role in international relations with its role in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and with the conflict of interests between Turkey and the other states in NATO. The main goal for the author is to determinate the role of present Turkey in the fast-changing world-order.
