In the article, the degree of disruption in the education system caused by the COVID pandemic was analyzed. A preliminary review of the results of the first post-pandemic studies was conducted. Areas of the education system requiring the greatest reinforcement and the development of remedial and preventive measures were identified. Based on the literature review, the main recommendations for the direction of educational reforms were outlined, and an assessment of the implementation status of declarative changes in education systems was made in the context of Poland and internationally.
