The attitude of the head of the Church towards Russian aggression in Ukraine aroused public interest from the very beginning. From the first days of the war, papal statements had a wide resonance, not only among the members of the Catholic Church. Francis’ attitude and teaching were also closely followed by
the media around the world, including Polish ones. We will look at the reception of the papal teaching on the war in Ukraine based on an analysis of the articles of three leading opinion weekly magazines in
Poland - „Polityka”, „Sieci” and „Gość Niedzielny” - in the first half of the year of the military conflict in Ukraine.
